I have been teaching middle school physical education for five years now and have coached various sports as well. I enjoy the time I have with my students and know that individuals who begin healthy habits early in life are more likely to continue to have a healthy lifestyle compared to those who try to “get healthy” later on. I am one of the fortunate people who went to college and know exactly what career I wanted to pursue. As long as I can remember, I had always wanted to be a physical education teacher. I had great role models growing up who really put a focus on fitness and health very early on in my life.
I began personal training when I was in graduate school studying exercise science at Ithaca College. I love helping individuals set goals and setting up programs to achieve them. In the past I have helped people lose weight, train for elite sporting events, and taught women how exercise can aid in healthy pregnancy and child birth. The last five years has been incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing my success with E3Sports.
My whole philosophy on fitness is simple, “live healthy, live happy”. Whether it's improving your 5K time, increasing your speed and agility so your performance on the field or court is improved, or losing the weight you need to feel better about yourself, I look forward to helping my clients achieve a healthy and therefore happy lifestyle.
I have my B.S in Health and Physical Education, my M.S in Exercise Science and have over 5 years of performance training experience.
