One of the teams E3Sports works closely with is The New York Grays Baseball Club. The NY Grays were interested in professional performance training for their athletes at the highest level. They asked E3Sports to educate their athletes utilizing both our custom designed Injury Prevention and Athletic Development programs.

Each age group participates in a baseball-specific active warm up as well as a cool down before every practice and game. By using an E3Sports’ functional program design, athletes have raised conditioning levels and developed more efficient movement patterns. The NY Grays have seen the results of what E3Sports can do in the form of increased wins, a reduction in injuries and higher Division I college recruitment.

E3Sports Coach Mike Jock has worked closely with the entire NY Grays program, ages 11 through 18, since December 2010. The oldest team was featured recently in The New York Post in an article entitled “Apple Ripe with HS Baseball Prospects” for their accomplishments. Two of the players named in the article have individually trained with Jock during this most recent off-season. In the fall, Harrison Bader and Jose Cuas will attend Maryland.

“In baseball one of the first things a scout is looking for is speed. Period. When training baseball athletes and teams speed was always the theme of our sessions. Our program design broke speed down into its four components of functional movement, strength, technique, and reactiveness/power. It was not a surprise to me when I learned Harrison and Jose who I personally coach and Kevin Martir who I work with during groups sessions had all committed to Divison One programs and are potential first round Major League Baseball draft selections. Their work ethic, passion, and commitment to success is unparalleled to anyone I have ever worked with before,” commented E3Sports Performance Trainer Mike Jock.”
